Continuing Education (CE) Hours

The Center of Being has been an NCBTMB* approved “School Provider” since 2009, and will continue this program through 2017.  (The CE program is being discontinued after December 31, 2017.)  Through this relationship, IET instructors can register to offer their students eight (8) CE Hours each for the Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and IET for Pets classes, and 16 CE Hours for the Master-Instructor class.

*NCBTMB is The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.  It operates in the U.S.

The administration fee for issuing each CE certificate is $15.00.  This fee is paid by you, the student.

Note that the terminology has recently changed from CEU's to either Continuing Education Hours or CE Hours.

Here’s how it works:

After you complete one or more of these classes, I can provided you with a CE Application, signed by me verifying your attendance – just let me know if you need one. The application provides:

  • Your name, mailing address, class(es) taken, and date(s) of class(es) (note: you can submit one form for more than one class taken).

  • Your name as you wish it to appear on their CE certificate.

You would then mail the form along with a check for $15 made payable to The Center of Being, Inc. (the mailing address is provided on the form).

Note:
  • If you will be taking multiple classes, it is best to submit one application after completing several classes.  The $15 fee will cover the CE contact hours for one class or for several classes taken from the same instructor, provided they are submitted on the same form.

  • If you prefer to pay by credit card (Visa or MasterCard), I can contact The Center of Being to arrange for that.
